Part-Time Temporary Accounting Specialist

PART-TIME TEMPORARY ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST CBG has an immediate opening for a Part-time, temporary Accounting Specialist. This position requires accounting theory knowledge, bookkeeping skills, knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and computer proficiency. You will process receivables/payables, account reconciliations, commissions and other responsibilities to support the CBG team and our customers. Responsibilities Manage the Accounts Receivable function, including, but not limited to invoicing, reconciliation, posting deposits, collections, account liaison Manage the Accounts Payable function including, but not limited to invoice entry, Purchase Order review, reconciliation and vendor payment Reconcile accounting discrepancies by evaluating relevant account information Generate and submit applicable journal entries for approval Reconcile monthly statements and transactions to support ledgers and accounting records File various monthly, quarterly tax returns as required Compute monthly and quarterly sales commissions Reconcile company credit cards, expense reports and other expenditures Review, analyze and adjust financial data/information to generate Financial Statements that depict CBG's current financial status Generate accurate Financial Statements for submission to CBG Biotech management team. Cross train in Customer Service and Sales Order entry Supporting general office tasks (order supplies, facility management, receptionist back-up) Requirements Associates degree in Accounting + 3 years Bookkeeping/Accounting experience Skillful verbal and written communication skills Confidence, self-motivation and determination to succeed Proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs - Outlook, Word, Excel programs Familiarity with NetSuite ERP System a plus Please note, all candidates must pass drug and background screening.
