Overview:

Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a Cleveland, Ohio client to help them search and qualify candidates for their Construction Assistant Project Accountant position. Our client’s work portfolio has grown substantially, and they are looking for entrepreneurial people who can grow with them.

Primary responsibilities of the job include:

• Responsible for preparing all contracts, purchase orders and change orders for all projects
• Tracking and recording of insurance certificates, workers compensation and vendor W-9’s
• Prepares and distributes meeting minutes, weekly and monthly reports
• Prepare weekly project reports and distribute to Project Managers
• Assist with budgeting, reporting, and bookkeeping, invoices, and cost coding

A successful candidate will possess the following:

• The Project Assistant must have excellent communication skills.
• The Project Assistant must demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
• A demonstrated ability in accounting principles

5 years of experience working in the general construction industry is preferred

Salary Range: $60-70K
