About the Position

Job Title: RN - Labor and Delivery/OB ED Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, intermediate fetal monitoring Must-Have: Candidates must have EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE competency, and C-Section circulation experience. Candidates must possess 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery. Description: This position is for a contract RN in Labor and Delivery and OB ED. The role includes rotating weekends and does not require on-call work. The unit has 32 beds and a staffing ratio of 1:2 to accommodate patient needs. Staff members typically include a charge nurse, co-charge nurse, and RNs. A day shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 1 co-charge nurse, and RNs to meet patient ratios. Night shifts have a similar structure. The unit is equipped with Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound equipment. Candidates with internal monitor placement competency will be given priority. Experience in a Level IV unit, which is a high volume facility, is preferred. The team is looking for a candidate who is a team player with a positive attitude. The dress code consists of navy blue scrubs with no unacceptable attire. This is a competitive market, and the unit offers new equipment and technologies.
