Welcome to Allandale Veterinary Hospital, a visionary 10,000+ sq ft facility in Barrie, Ontario, where awe-inspiring moments await. Picture a workplace where every resource for exceptional patient care lies at your fingertips, all housed under one roof.

Our thriving AAHA certified, Feline-friendly practice stands tall among the best. Our team of 70 talented staff members, with the majority Fear Free certified, exudes expertise and dedication. Now, we're eager to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to our growing family. We are conveniently located off Hwy 400 and with ample parking for our team and clients.

Our spectrum of small animal services goes beyond the conventional, including rehabilitation, acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine. We have a special interest in reproduction with hospital progesterone, transcervical insemination, and c-sections. Explore our cutting-edge amenities, like the underwater treadmill, IDEXX lab, dual ultrasound machines, orthopedics, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, 8 exam rooms, 1 comfort room, and 1 special procedures room. We're champions of individual passions, so we encourage our doctors to pursue their special interests with our unwavering support.

Beyond our walls, we extend a philanthropic spirit that knows no bounds. We participate actively in fundraising for charities, making a global impact by providing veterinary care in under-serviced areas such as Guatemala, Jamaica, Honduras, and Northern Ontario. Our journey of excellence has earned us multiple Favorite Veterinarian & Technician awards and the coveted 2013 Veterinary Hospital Design Winner accolade.

Work-life harmony is a cornerstone of our ethos. With doctors on a 4-day week average, we embrace consistency in scheduling to ensure you thrive both inside and outside the hospital. A dedicated exam room assistant will walk hand-in-hand with you throughout your shift, lifting the administrative weight and allowing more time for attentive client service. Our culture revolves around fun, collaboration, support, and a commitment to fostering continuous learning for all team members.

So, why choose us? We offer an irresistible compensation package, including a competitive salary of $110,000–$160,000 based on experience, fully compensated CE days, a generous CE allowance, paid vacation and sick days, full health, vision, and dental insurance, a uniform allowance, and full coverage of dues and licensures. Generous pet care discounts complete this comprehensive package. As we embark on this exciting journey together, we are also open to exploring additional compensation options that better align with your unique needs.
