Maintenance Technician

About the Role Cottonwood Residential is hiring an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for Toscana at Valley Ridge Apartments in Lewisville, TX. Responsibilities Perform repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building and grounds maintenance. Work standard community hours, including evenings and weekends, and be available on‑call for after‑hours emergencies with Service Manager support. Move, lift up to 50 lbs, and work standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, bending, pushing, pulling, and navigating difficult terrain. Read, write, and speak English and interpret company paperwork, safety manuals, and operating procedures. Climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolds, and navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance. Qualifications EPA Type II or Universal certification (required). Valid Driver's License (required). CPO certification (preferred). Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move large objects. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and after‑hours emergencies. Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay.
