Job Description
Registered Nurse - Critical Care

Schedule:
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification at time of hire
- Critical care experience preferred
- Must demonstrate competency in Dysrhythmia during Orientation
- Completing of Critical Care Course within 1 year of hire
- Demonstrated competency in IV Sedation within 6 months of hire

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the nursing process.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient health status and responses to treatments.
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.
- Delegate appropriate nursing tasks based on staff competency and legal scope of practice.

Compliance / Notes:
- Required certifications must be completed as per department specifications.
- Must have EPIC experience.
