Why join us Choice of Office Location: Work from whichever of our four Chicagoland offices fits your life best Competitive Compensation: DOE, plus a comprehensive benefits package (salary range to be confirmed with client) 401(k) with Company Match Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance Collaborative Culture: Direct access to firm leadership and a team environment built on mentorship, not silos Diverse Client Base: Exposure to a broad mix of industries and tax engagements, not just one narrow niche Clear Growth Path: Ongoing training and structured support toward CPA licensure and advancement Hybrid Flexibility: A schedule designed to support real work life balance Job Details Prepare and review federal and state tax returns across individuals (1040), partnerships (1065), S corps (1120-S), C corps (1120), and trusts/estates (1041) Research complex tax issues and turn them into practical, actionable solutions for clients Support clients with year-round tax planning and consulting, not just seasonal work Review work completed by Tax Staff, providing coaching and mentorship along the way Build and maintain client relationships through consistent, proactive communication Juggle multiple client engagements at once while keeping every deadline on track Partner directly with Managers and Partners on planning opportunities and special projects Stay current on shifting federal and state tax laws and regulations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field Minimum of 3 years of recent public accounting tax experience Experience preparing and reviewing both individual and business tax returns Strong working knowledge of partnership, S corporation, and corporate taxation Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while still delivering excellent client service Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
