IT Application Analyst – Epic Lumens We are seeking two IT Application Analysts to support the operations, maintenance, and growing complexity of Epic Lumens functionality for gastroenterology practice within the Mayo Clinic Enterprise. The role involves complex system builds and strong collaboration with Informatics and clinical practice liaisons. Responsibilities The Lumens Team within the EHRT Procedural & Specialty Systems Unit will support the following: Analyze and support Epic Lumens installations, including case (surgical) and appointment-based procedures, image integration, orders, charging, security, macros, and secondary SmartForm build. Maintain knowledge of existing systems and validate data integrity of changes introduced. Research and determine scope, size, and impact of change requests; elicit requirements from customers; validate requirements; and confirm that solutions meet stated needs. Act as liaison between clinical, business, and technical areas during planning; build credibility and rapport with customers. Manage small- to mid-sized projects and contribute to software testing activities. Provide 24/7 on‑call support as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree with 2 years’ experience in business analysis. Vendor application certification may be required. Preferred Qualifications Strong analytical, organizational, and decision‑making skills; excellent verbal and written communication. Prior Epic build and application support experience, especially with case (surgical) and/or appointment-based procedures, image integration, orders, charging, security, macros, and secondary SmartForm build. Experience with gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopic practice. Candidates with Epic certification (preferred in Epic Lumens, Epic Radiant, and/or Epic OpTime). If not certified at hire, must obtain Epic Lumens certification within 3–6 months. Compensation $88,358.40 – $123,780.80 per year Schedule Full Time. Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a 24x7 on‑call rotation. This is a hybrid position; must live or relocate within 100 miles of a Mayo Clinic campus and be on campus ~5% of the time.
