Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

• Schedule: 8 hour day shifts with beeper call after shift; weeknight and weekend on-call (pager)
• Job Setting: 4 anesthesia rooms with MDs supervising CRNAs at 1:4 ratio
• Types of Cases: General, Ortho
• Credentialing: 45 days estimated privileging timeframe; temporary privileges available (30-60 days)
• Duration: 13+ weeks

Minimum Requirements

• Certifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Licensure: Current license as a registered professional nurse; NY state license required (must be obtained prior to start)
