Behavior Interventionist - District Office (Paraprofessional/Instructional Aide Position)

You will be notified of the test date.Representative duties include collaborating with special education teachers, classroom teachers, administrators, and other appropriate personnel to assist in the development and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans and provide one-on-one and/or group Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to designated students; assisting the teacher in providing behavioral support to behaviorally challenged students; monitoring and redirecting student progress regarding inappropriate behaviors and performance; and supporting the acquisition of appropriate skills and behaviors. Performs a variety of responsible and specialized tasks in the physical care and classroom instruction of students with disabilities.Required qualifications include advanced education, such as an Associate (AA) degree, or education beyond an AA degree is highly desirable. One year experience providing support services to children with serious behavioral and/or emotional needs is desirable. Copy of High School Diploma required/or college transcripts.
