The Business‑in‑a‑Box platform integrates revenue cycle management, accounting and finance, human resources, EHR support, payer contracting, compliance, supply‑chain logistics, and data intelligence. Our cloud‑based system provides physicians with the operational foundation to focus on patient care while maintaining full ownership and autonomy. MedCBO partners with practices of all sizes—including startups, rural clinics, and multi‑specialty groups—to streamline operations, strengthen financial performance, and support long‑term growth. Job Overview This posting is for physicians who wish to establish or transition into an independently operated medical practice that is supported by MedCBO’s administrative infrastructure. Physicians own and operate their own practice entity while MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support. This is not an employed physician position. Physician Responsibilities Provide patient care within the scope of your specialty Develop professional relationships within the medical community Coordinate payer credentialing as required by MedCBO Determine services offered by the practice Manage clinical quality and patient experience Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform and implementation Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice Board‑certified or board‑eligible in a specialty appropriate for the clinical services provided Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice Interest in the independent practice model Preferred Desire for practice ownership Interest in community‑based care Leadership or program development experience Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed and subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is not a salary and is generated by the physician‑owned practice. Financial outcomes vary based on specialty scope, services offered, payer mix, physician activity, and local market conditions. Results are not guaranteed.
