We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing high-quality food services that cater to their individual needs and preferences.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with meal preparation, food service, and sanitation in the dietary department

• Maintain accurate records of food temperatures, inventory, and food allergies

• Assist with resident lunches, snacks, and tray service

• Collaborate with the dietary staff to plan and prepare special meals and events for residents

• Ensure a clean and safe environment in the dietary department, adhering to infection control protocols

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff

• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in food service or dietary department required

• Ability to work flexible hours

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and stand for long periods
