General and Vascular Sonographer PRN

Vascular Sonographer (PRN) Medical City Lewisville, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Vascular Sonographer for a PRN position. Job Summary Assist Vascular Surgeon, Radiologist, Cardiologist and other physicians in the performance of diagnostic Vascular Sonographic procedures in an accurate and timely manner. Operate ultrasound & segmental pressure equipment, prepare patient rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications. Provide patient services using imaging modalities, maintain a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors, support departmental and hospital goals, and serve patients of all ages (infant – geriatric). Responsibilities Assist physicians in performing Vascular Sonographic procedures. Operate ultrasound and segmental pressure equipment. Prepare patient rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications. Provide patient services using imaging modalities. Maintain a safe environment for patients, coworkers, and visitors. Support and help achieve departmental and hospital goals. Serve patients of all age groups (infant – geriatric). Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

• RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (RDMS‑AB) RDMS Abdomen Specialty, or (RDMS‑OB/GYN) RDMS Obstetrics & Gynecology, or Associate Degree or Certificate.
• RVT) Registered Vascular Technician, or (RVS) Registered Vascular Specialist obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
