Work directly for an established food manufacturing company in Monmouth County/New Jersey area that is seeking a Quality Control Technician to help ensure products meet quality and packaging standards before reaching customers. This role works closely with production and quality teams to identify defects, maintain compliance, and support continuous improvement.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

-Inspect raw materials, components, production batches, and finished products for defects and compliance with established quality standards.
-Collect samples, perform testing, document inspection results, and reject materials or products that do not meet specifications.
-Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and work with production and quality teams on corrective and preventive actions.
-Maintain accurate quality records, support internal audits, and ensure inspection and testing equipment is properly calibrated.

Requirements

-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality control or similar manufacturing role.
-Strong math, technical, communication, and Microsoft Office skills with knowledge of quality control standards and testing procedures.

Preferences

-Food manufacturing experience
-Quality control certification.
-Experience with internal audits, root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.

Schedule & Compensation

-2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
-3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
(Mandatory weekend overtime as needed)
$22-$27/hour, based on experience
