About the role Open to hiring remote across North America – we also have offices in NYC, San Francisco and Seattle We’re looking for a skilled writer to partner closely with our communications and marketing teams. You'll build and run Runway's editorial operation from the ground up, creating and capitalizing on key storylines to drive awareness and build trust. You'll create and own our company blog, working with teams across the company to create compelling content that supports our business and customers, and drives public conversation, shaping how the world understands us and our work. This role requires editorial instincts combined with strategic thinking: you'll need to read the room, move quickly and operate across multiple communication layers simultaneously. What you’ll do Build and run our company blog, partnering with teams across the company to surface and report on stories – customer breakthroughs, research developments, team perspectives and more Develop multi-layered messaging strategies that operate across explicit product value propositions, implicit brand signals and strategic audience-specific narratives that read the room and move quickly Create high-quality editorial content and storytelling formats that establish Runway as a thought leader and cultural force Build a content engine through repeatable, measurable formats that inform and convert Grow Runway's reach, influence and cultural relevance through measurable editorial strategies and innovative storytelling approaches Create SEO-focused content that bolsters our presence across channels Use AI to scale volume and variety What you’ll need Proven experience building high-quality content across formats Strong editorial judgment; exceptional writer and editor A track record of building content strategies that drive both brand perception and business outcomes Experience translating complex narratives to a variety of audiences Willingness to flex between strategy and execution without sacrificing speed Deep expertise in AI and/or enterprise technology Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide.
