Not to mention, the Rocky Mountain views are stunning!What we offer you:Competitive compensation and benefits packageMatching 401(k) with generous employer matchFitness center membership discountOpportunities for professional developmentEmployee wellness program with free coaching sessionsWhat you'll be doing:Screening gynecologic specimens using ThinPrep technology; releasing normal results and referring abnormal findings to a pathologist.Preparing, screening, and evaluating a variety of non-gynecologic specimens (e.g., FNAs, urines, CSF, effusions, brushings, smears), and providing preliminary interpretations.Assisting with on-site Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) procedures, evaluating specimen adequacy in real time alongside pathologists.Performing manual and automated staining techniques and preparing specimens for optimal cytologic evaluation.Conducting preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of cytology equipment, including ThinPrep systems.Maintaining a clean, safe work environment and adhering to infection control and safety protocols.Performing quality control checks and participating in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.Accurately entering results and reports into the Meditech system; ensuring compliance with Bethesda reporting standards and regulatory requirements.Supporting ongoing updates to cytology policies, procedures, and departmental statistics.Collaborating with the CytoPrep Tech and broader lab team to maintain efficient workflow and high-quality specimen processing.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related biological science required.Montana Clinical Laboratory Specialist (CSP) license required.CT (ASCP) Cytotechnologist certification required.Completion of a CAAHEP accredited Cytotechnology internship program.Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and a team-oriented approach.If you're ready to join a supportive team that values your skills and offers the work-life balance you deserve, come experience the Montana lifestyle with us!Logan Health takes great pride in offering its employees a comprehensive benefits package that includes:Health, Dental, and Vision insurance401(k) with generous matchingEmployer-provided life insuranceVoluntary life and disability insurance optionsCritical Illness and Voluntary Accident optionsEmployee assistance program (EAP)FSAFree parkingPaid time off, Holiday pay, and Illness bankEmployee referral programTuition Reimbursement ProgramEmployee Wellness Program that includes wellness coaching, classes, wellness incentives and moreLogan Health Fitness Center - Waived registration fee and 1/2 off monthly membership duesShift: Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week (8 hour day shifts). Shifts are generally Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.This position may also assist in occasional evening shifts, holidays and weekend coverage.Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
