This senior-level role involves developing and executing long-term strategies to drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure consistent, scalable, and compliant operations processes and standards.The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations – with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries.**Responsibilities:*** Develop and execute long-term strategic plans to achieve operational excellence.* Lead and oversee initiatives to improve planning, production, customer service, and logistics operations.* Ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and standards.* Drive advanced continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.* Develop and maintain scalable and consistent operations processes, procedures, and standards.* Mentor and develop senior operations leaders and managers.* Conduct comprehensive operations reviews to assess performance against strategic objectives.* Manage and optimize operational budgets to achieve financial goals.* Provide executive-level guidance to the Program Management Office on production operations-related issues.* Align operations strategies with the company’s mission, vision, and growth objectives.**Qualifications You Must Have:*** Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain or a related field of study.* 15+ years of relevant experience, with at least 8+ years in a leadership role.* Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 19 years of related experience is required.* Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.* Expert knowledge of manufacturing, production, and logistics processes.* Proven experience in leading large-scale continuous process improvement initiatives.* Experience leading and coordinating large, multi-location operations.* Advanced knowledge of production/manufacturing principles, techniques, and warehousing best practices.* Experience with materials management systems.* Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications.* Excellent customer-facing experience.* Proven leadership abilities inclusive of successful change management, mentoring, career development, training, succession planning, holding people accountable, and conducting yearly reviews.* Proven experience and skills in team building, time management, conflict resolution, communication, briefing, presentation, and strategic thinking.* Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly express concepts in verbal and written forms.**Qualifications We Prefer:*** Master’s degree in a related field.* Extensive experience in the aerospace and defense industry.* Professional certification such as Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.* Advanced proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and data analysis tools.* Ability to navigate change and uncertainty, make defensible decisions in ambiguity and own those decisions.* Mastery to drive innovative thinking, lead and inspire teams, instill collaboration, challenge status quo, manage complex situations, delegate authority, and demonstrate ability to adapt to dynamic situations.* Skills in assessing external competition by gathering data from multiple, often disparate, qualitative and quantitative sources and synthesizing it into meaningful reports and presentations.* Possess leadership acumen to perform as a true strategic partner to top company executives; ability to establish presence and demeanor to interface and work collaboratively with leaders and skill to make significant contributions on key leadership committees.* Demonstrated passion for ideation, intellectual curiosity, and innovation, as well as motivating others to act by creating a shared sense of vision or purpose.* Proven long-term and strategic perspective that extends beyond the immediate initiatives; visualizes and articulates a clear direction.* Team oriented with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.* Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense (Civilian), NASA/Civil or commercial space and/or US Military, with an understanding of defense, aerospace, intelligence, and adjacent markets.**Essential Functions:*** Ability to work on a computer for the majority of the work shift.* Hand/finger dexterity for data entry and document handling.* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.* Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.* Ability to travel occasionally as required.* Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.* Ability to read detailed technical documents and computer screens.* Ability to inspect equipment and facilities, potentially in different lighting conditions.* Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.Estimated Starting Salary Range: $221,505.94 - $304,570.67. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and .**IMPORTANT NOTICE:**This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
