Pediatric Anesthesiologist

Our client in CA is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Anesthesiologist for an 84-day assignment beginning October 5, 2024. The role involves Monday through Friday shifts alongside weekend call, focusing on administering anesthesia and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. The provider will practice in an independent model within a stand-alone children's hospital setting. Practice Info EMR: Epic Setting: Inpatient Patient Volume: 6-12 patients per day Scope of Practice: Full scope pediatric anesthesia, encompassing moderate, deep, and general anesthesia for pediatric surgical cases, neonates, and children under 2 Includes non-OR/diagnostic procedures within a stand-alone children’s hospital with NICU and PICU units This is an independent practice model Responsibilities Administer anesthesia to pediatric patients undergoing surgery or other medical procedures Monitor patients vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities Provide guidance and support to other healthcare professionals as needed Compensation Strong compensation Benefits Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Shift & Schedule 84-day assignment, with assignments beginning Oct 5, 2024 M-F shifts along with weekend call, requiring a minimum of 7 days per month Call Schedule: Inhouse call, including day, night, and 24-hour backup shifts Locum will join the call schedule after two weeks LOA: 84 Days Qualifications Board Certification: Pediatric Anesthesiology
