Responsibilities: Dietary Supervisor : Oversee the daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring that all food service activities are performed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. Supervise and coordinate the work of dietary aides, cooks, and other food service staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service. Develop and Implement Menu Plans : Design and implement menu plans that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents, complying with all relevant food safety and nutrition regulations. Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement care plans that address resident dietary needs and preferences. Maintain a Clean and Sanitary Environment : Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the dietary department, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations. Manage Inventory and Supplies : Administer inventory and supply management, ensuring that all food and beverage items are properly stored, labeled, and rotated. Clinical Nutrition Support : Provide support and guidance to residents, family members, and healthcare staff on dietary matters, including nutritional counseling and recommendations. Requirements: Dietary Supervisor with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing healthcare setting. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. Knowledge of Nutrition and Food Service Standards : Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations governing food service in healthcare settings. Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
