RN Cath LabContractor Onsite positionDes Moines, IA, United States, 50314Shift Timing: Morning Shift 07:00 - 15:30 Hours (8 hours/ 5 Days)Per Week: 40 HoursExperience: 2 YearsRequirement: On call required. 1 night per week, 1 weekend a month (Friday 5pm - Monday 7am) 1 holidayExperience Level Requested (in years): 2-3 years in diagnostic and interventional cath labJob Description: Procedural cath lab RN able to care for patients undergoing cardiac cath, PCI, IABP and Impella insertion, temporary pacemaker, Able to administer moderate sedationResponsibilitiesAssess, prepare and position patients for procedures.Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.Prepare, implement and document plan of care.Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures.Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures.Perform set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.
