Together, we're improving health and improving lives.LabCorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in the Greenville, TX area (75401)Work Schedule: Monday - Friday hours will vary based on coverage needs between 6:30am to 6:30pm (overtime and rotating weekends will be required as needed)Job Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when needed, Reliable transportation requiredMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:2 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment1 or more years' experience assisting all patient age groups (pediatric - geriatric)Current or prior LabCorp experienceAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agencyWill cover sites in Greenville, TX and surrounding areas (approximate 100 + mile radius)Ability to work in a fast paced / high volume work environmentAble to pass a standardized color blindness testBe 21 years of age or olderHave a valid driver's license and clean driving recordFlexibility to work overtime as neededExceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionFloat Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement*QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM *Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metricsBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
