Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Med Tech
• BLS certification
• MLS(ASCP) required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Blood bank experience required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with Vitros dry chemistry systems (5600 and 350).
• Flu vaccination is required for travelers. Exemptions must be client approved.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM.
• Variable 5x8 schedule.
• Flexibility to cover night shift when needed.
• No weekend requirement.
• No call requirement.
• EMR: EPIC.
