General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

• Number of Beds -: 29 beds but can overflow adults in peds for a total of 39
• Number of Staff when at 39 we call for a charge, 8 RN, and our ACT
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift charge, 8 RNs, and ACT from 10am-10pm
  • Night Shift - charge, 8 RNs and ACT from 10am-10pm
• Patient Ratios 5:1
• Type of equipment remote telemetry
• EMR Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 1-year current Med/Surg RN acute care experience
• BLS

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• ACLS
• Prior Meditech experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Post-op surgical patients
• Some cardiac drips such as amio and dilt. Also will see heparin drips
