Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a fulfilling contract role supporting students' communication needs in a school-based setting near Trinity, NC. This opportunity involves two Speech-Language Pathology assignments, starting August 17 and concluding June 11. Work closely with students ranging from elementary to middle school, helping them overcome speech and language challenges essential for academic and social success.

What You’ll Bring:

• Valid SLP license and eligibility for CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Strong foundation in pediatric and school-based SLP practice
• Experience or confidence working with both primary and related speech caseloads
• Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in educational settings
• Commitment to being onsite for elementary assignments; openness to part-time hours at the middle school
• Ability to supervise an SLPA if needed and collaborate within a dynamic educational team
• Effective communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of approximately 50 elementary students and 20 middle schoolers
• Conduct evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
• Consult with families, teachers, and other professionals to maximize student progress
• Ensure compliance with IEP goals and state educational requirements
• Possible supervision of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), fostering professional growth and high-quality service delivery
