Associate Veterinarian

Introduction Our client is a hospital hiring a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their small animal and exotics practice. This full-service veterinary clinic provides comprehensive care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets throughout the Mandeville area and is committed to delivering compassionate, relationship-based veterinary medicine. The practice is seeking an experienced veterinarian who values teamwork, high-quality patient care, and strong client communication within a collaborative and supportive environment. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will perform comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups, diagnostic procedures, surgery, client communication and education, and maintain accurate medical records. Additional responsibilities include pharmacy duties, monitoring hospital protocols, attending daily rounds when possible, promoting teamwork and staff efficiency, and collaborating with hospital leadership on priorities and workflow. The role includes providing care for small animals and exotic pets, along with preventative medicine, dental care, emergency care during regular hours, and cold laser therapy services. This opportunity is suited for an experienced veterinarian with strong communication skills and a passion for high-quality veterinary medicine. Practice Details This full-service veterinary hospital provides comprehensive care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets, offering vaccinations and prevention, routine exams, emergency care during regular hours, dental care, geriatrics, puppy and kitten care, exotic pet care, and cold laser therapy. The practice emphasizes a relationship-based approach to veterinary medicine and is known for compassionate patient care and strong client relationships within the community. The hospital supports veterinarians with experienced technicians, collaborative workflows, and opportunities for continued professional growth and development. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and closed Sunday.
