Material Handler Spinning Department

Spinning Department SupportSupply material and assistance to the Spinning Department in a timely manner to increase production efficiencies and overall productivity. To work in and promote a safe and healthy work environment. Monitors and maintains equipment and materials to manufacture a good fiberglass product.Provide the Spinning Department with supplies needed to run production.Train to obtain a clear understanding of the furnace application.Must be able to perform their assigned duties and follow policies and procedures.Complete training on manufacturing instructions, LOTO and JSA's.Work is performed on 12 hour rotating shifts. Operation is 7 days a week.Move and position glass hoppers as needed for furnace operationsLoading materials into glass elevatorMove finished product to designated location in warehouse.Assist line in preparation of product change over'sWash and sweep floors, walls, rails and ceiling to include other duties as assigned.The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
