Contract Details
- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 3 months
- Shift / Schedule: Evening (2nd Shift) 2:00 PM 10:30 PM (5x8 Hours)
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Job Summary
This Surgical Support Aide role is based at the Main Campus and supports surgical services through patient transport room turnover and hands-on physical support tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lift and transport heavy items as required by the role
- Transport patients throughout the facility
- Clean and turn over surgical rooms between procedures
Required Skills
- 1 full year of customer service experience required
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 full year of customer service experience
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Role requires lifting heavy items
- Transporting patients is a core physical duty of this position
- Cleaning and turning over surgical rooms is required
- COVID-19 vaccination required (Medical/Religious exemptions only)
- Flu vaccination required (Medical/Religious exemptions only)
Important Notes
- For orientation and the first three weeks of the contract travelers will be asked to work 1st shift (9:00 AM 5:30 PM) to become familiar with the unit before transitioning to the assigned 2nd shift schedule.
