Senior Tax Associate

Our client is looking for a Senior Tax Associate to join their growing Tax team at a leading Illinois public accounting firm. What You’ll Do: Prepare and review a variety of federal, state, and local tax returns Work directly with tax managers and firm leadership to serve clients and support engagements Assist with tax planning, research, and compliance projects Manage multiple client engagements and ensure deadlines are met Communicate with clients to gather information and respond to tax-related questions Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and teammates Support and mentor junior team members when needed What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s or advanced degree desired CPA eligibility required, CPA desired 3+ years of tax experience within a public accounting firm Experience working with a variety of privately held businesses and individual clients preferred Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities during busy season Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite #J-18808-Ljbffr Verital Advisory Search
