Job Title: Registered Nurse - Psych Child/Adolescent Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Psychiatry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of pediatric mental health experience License: NYS RN License required Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only) required Must-Have: - NYS RN License - 2 years of pediatric mental health experience - BLS certification Description: We are seeking candidates with a passion for pediatric psychiatry. The unit focuses on stabilization through robust group offerings, including Activities Therapy, Mindfulness, Wellness, and Coping Skills groups, as well as psychopharmacological interventions. Registered Nurses will work with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient goals and provide safe, effective, and therapeutic care. Candidates must have a commitment to providing high-quality care to children and adolescents experiencing acute mental health crises. Preferred qualifications include a CPI blue card and experience in a large academic setting.
