Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Location: Savannah, GA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, specifically within the NICU environment, and be skilled in managing various advanced therapies.

Responsibilities:

• Independently admit and manage ventilated patients in a Level 4 NICU.
• Set up and manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation devices, including Bubble CPAP and High-flow therapy.
• Administer surfactant and manage inhaled nitric oxide therapy.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team in a fast-paced environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Neonatal ICU or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
• Certification in PALS is required.
• Advanced skills in managing high-frequency ventilation and related therapies.
