Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and high‑acuity patients. Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment. Administer medications, IV therapies, and specialized treatments safely and accurately. Operate and monitor critical care equipment including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams. Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations and changes in patient condition. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery expectations. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Compassionate, patient‑focused approach to care. Preferred Qualifications CCRN certification preferred. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR). Ability to work effectively in high‑stress situations.
