OEM Supply Planner

$20k

Maddox Industrial Transformer

Maddox is the nation’s leading provider of electrical transformers to the commercial and industrial market, with primary locations in South Carolina, Washington State, Texas, Idaho, and Ohio. We have been recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest-growing companies in America for the past 8 years and counting. Maddox was founded on Christian values, and we are serious about investing in the people, processes, and culture that make this a great place to work. We build real things, solve real problems, and expect professionalism, competence, and integrity from our team. As a Maddox OEM Supply Planner, you will report to the Supplier Relations Manager, under direction of the OEM Purchasing Team Lead, in a fast-paced and highly dynamic procurement environment. Your work will focus on managing our various new stock programs–mitigating supply risks and ensuring profitability through a healthy and consistent breadth/depth of inventory. You will manage a large portfolio of new stock items, ranging across several product lines and in warehouse locations across the US. Using various supply chain planning tools, you will forecast SKU-level product demand, maintain sufficient safety stocks, and avoid costly inventory shortages. As a result, you will have direct responsibility for ensuring that Maddox continuously procures the “right” stock units, from the “right” OEMs, in the “right” quantities, and at the “right” time. Additionally, you will assist the OEM Purchasing Team Lead and OEM Purchasing Analyst with a variety of purchasing, planning, and supplier performance and reporting projects, as needed. Your day-to-day activities will involve reviewing weekly sales trends and calculating operational and tactical replenishment orders. The Maddox OEM Purchase Order Coordinators will count on you to tell them what to order, how many to order, and from whom to order. You will also lead weekly forward-looking Stock Steering meetings with the OEM Purchasing Leadership Team to formulate and report-out on the execution of supply strategies. More About You: You have an intermediate-to-advanced level of skill with spreadsheets and dashboards (i.e. Excel, Power BI, Google Sheets). You love working with large datasets and gleaning valuable insights from them. You have a kaizen (continuous improvement) mindset–constantly seeking ways to remove waste from systems and processes. You have a strong sense of urgency as well as a heightened sense of attention to detail. You have an “owner’s mentality.” When assigned a task or project, you gladly accept responsibility and run with it. You are confident, yet unashamed to ask for help when necessary. You are customer-centric and easy to do business with, aiming to provide solutions for internal stakeholders and suppliers alike. You can think quickly and juggle a list of rapidly changing priorities, while maintaining a calm and positive demeanor. Skills and Experience: We value experience, so if you have 20+ years of related experience, that's great! We're also very good at training new recruits, and are willing to invest in a select number of promising early-career candidates with the right attitude and ambition. For this particular role, education/experience in engineering, data analytics, supply chain, manufacturing, or purchasing is desirable, but not necessarily required; however, candidates with APICS CPIM or CSCP certifications or Six Sigma credentials are strongly encouraged to apply. Work Location: In office, with occasional domestic travel (up to 10%) Comprehensive full-time benefits package averaging $20,000+ per year (amount varies based on age, family size, and eligibility), including: Health & wellness benefits (insurance or cash-in-lieu options) Paid maternity and paternity leave 401(k) with 100% match up to 8% of wages Paid holidays, PTO, and family-life gifts Vision, dental, disability, life insurance, and other voluntary benefits Hourly range:
