Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist

Job Summary Beacon’s Pediatric Hematology/Oncology program provides comprehensive care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with a wide range of blood disorders and cancers. The oncology service actively manages 30–40 patients at any given time, while also supporting a large population of patients who are off therapy. In close collaboration with Riley Children’s Health, the program works seamlessly with a broad network of specialists to ensure access to the full spectrum of treatment options. Work Schedule Physicians work in the outpatient clinic and cover an inpatient service, along with support from a strong pediatric hospitalist team. Call is shared equally among the physicians. Leadership Role Opportunities Affiliation with Indiana University School of Medicine at Notre Dame and Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency allows for teaching of residents, medical students and supervision of post‑graduate trainees. The program has a strong working relationship with regional academic centers and collaborates with these centers frequently when caring for patients. It offers an opportunity to participate in limited medical student/resident education and clinical research.
