This role is to ensure Direct NDCs are ordered on a daily basis. Daily management of Exception Queue within IRIS Optum helps nearly 60 million Americans live their lives to the fullest by educating them about their symptoms, conditions and treatments; helping them to navigate the system, finance their healthcare needs and stay on track with their health goals. This position is full-time (40 hours/week). Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of Monday - Thursday 10am - 8pm, Friday would be 10am - 6pm, and Sundays would be 4pm - 8pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. We offer weeks of paid training. The hours of training will be based on your schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment. Primary Responsibilities: Ordering product Running partial reports and ordering alternate products as needed Managing the owes batch, ordering what is needed and communicating with the pharmacy for updates Reviewing prepack schedules and ordering when needed Moderate work experience within the Procurement/Purchasing/Sourcing functions Daily communication with pharmacies regarding various parts of inventory and ordering Some work is completed without established procedures Basic tasks are completed without review by others Supervision / guidance is required for higher level tasks You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED Must be 18 years of age OR older 1+ years of experience working in a pharmacy environment 6+ months of experience in Procurement/Purchasing/Sourcing 6+ months of Project/Leadership experience Intermediate Excel experience Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week).
