- Defining the overall structure of the system, including the platform architecture, technology, and tools Performance optimization
- Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, and optimizing code and algorithms Security
- Ensuring that Java applications are secure and comply with security best practices Technology evaluation
- Evaluating new technologies, tools, and frameworks to determine their suitability for use in the organizations projects Collaboration
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to clarify business needs and detect dependencies, impediments, and potential risks Technical guidance
- Providing technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers Continuous learning
- Keeping Java knowledge and skills up to date by attending professional events and reading industry news
