Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Cath Lab /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 8-hour day shifts with rotating call coverage during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays /n• Call schedule includes 7 days per month with one weekend per month /n• Monitor patients during catheterization procedures using advanced equipment including Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and various coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices /n• Operate and work with two Siemens Artis Zee C-arms /n• Utilize McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and McKesson Hemodynamic System /n• Assist with cardiac and peripheral procedures including Left Heart Cath, Right and Left Heart Cath, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, and atherectomy /n• Support carotid diagnostic and stenting procedures /n• Assist with peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures including pacemaker insertion, tilt table tests, kyphoplasty, and AV graft procedures /n• Help with pre and post procedure patient care /n• Transport patients as needed /n• Assist with additional duties as assigned /n• Must be proficient in catheterization lab monitoring and procedures /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive catheterization lab that utilizes cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and general surgeons to provide complete cardiac and peripheral services.
