My client is a nonprofit foundation headquartered in the Washington D.C. area with a need for an Advocacy & Policy Coordinator to support the Director of Policy. This Advocacy & Policy Coordinator role will provide a variety of administrative and operational support, including calendar management, travel arrangement, and the support of Hill fly-ins. This is an exciting new opportunity that will assist in tracking . Executive Assistant candidates with nonprofit foundation experience are highly encouraged to apply. Executive Assistant with experience working in a fast-paced environment that are mission driven are encouraged to apply! The Executive Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:

• Responsible for scheduling and calendar management in MS Outlook

• Responsible for travel arrangement for domestic and international travel

• Track and file lobbying disclosures acts LDA in compliance with Federal laws

• Keep track of Department Support Budget in MS Excel Spreadsheet

• Scheduling and planning itineraries for meetings

• Responsible for preparing for meetings and briefings

• Board meeting support, including minutes, and scheduling logistics for conferences

Requirements:

3 + years’ experience as Executive Assistant to C-Suite

Hill experience is preferred

BS/BA degree from 4-year accredited College or University is highly preferred

Proficient in MS Office, including advanced in PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, & Excel preferred

Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
