About the Role
Join Indotronix as a Material Planning Coordinator III and play a vital part in warehouse operations at our Sterling Heights, MI facility. This hands-on role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with a passion for inventory management and logistics. Work on a stable 9/80 schedule with overtime potential, and contribute to a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate inventory: identify, label, and stock materials efficiently
- Conduct regular inventory audits and update item locations in the system
- Pick, pack, load, and secure materials for shipments
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and handheld scanners
- Load/unload materials safely while following all safety procedures
- Complete shipping documentation and maintain accurate records
- Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of equipment
- Handle hazardous materials in compliance with regulations (as needed)
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Support supervisors with additional warehouse tasks as assigned

Required Skills and Experience

- Minimum 3 years' experience in warehouse or inventory management
- Proficient in using handheld scanners and basic computer applications (MS Office, inventory systems)
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proven ability to read and understand shipping documents
- Good mathematical and counting skills
- Skilled in operating forklifts and related warehouse equipment
- Valid driver's license
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 lbs for extended periods
- Flexible to work different shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed

Preferred Skills

- Advanced inventory systems knowledge
- Experience handling hazardous materials
- Familiarity with additional warehouse management software
