• Licensure/Certifications: ARRT Certified, Valid Louisiana State License, BLS from the American Heart Association
• Experience: Prior radiology technologist experience preferred

What You'll Do:

• Verify physician orders and ensure accuracy of procedures
• Operate radiology equipment to complete imaging protocols according to standards
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure understanding for comfort and compliance
• Review images for diagnostic quality before transmission
• Perform quality control processes in line with regulations
• Assist with departmental operations, including inventory and equipment maintenance
• Adapt communication and service style for diverse patient populations
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as accreditation standards

What You Need:

• Required:
  • ARRT certification in Radiography
  • Current unrestricted Louisiana license
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
  • 1+ years of radiology technology experience preferred
  • Strong computer and communication skills
• Preferred:
  • Flexibility to work varied and extended hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Patient-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills

About the Assignment:
This role supports the diagnostic imaging department at a prominent healthcare provider in Shreveport, LA. The technologist will perform a variety of imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality results and patient safety in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have a strong attention to detail, ability to operate complex equipment, and commitment to patient care standards.
