Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
This role supports a high-volume stamping and welding operation by running production equipment, monitoring quality, and packaging finished parts. You will work on either first or second shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, operating press and weld machines, assisting with die changes, and performing basic troubleshooting and housekeeping to keep the work area safe and efficient.
Responsibilities
Operate coil-fed stamping presses and weld machines in a safe, efficient, and consistent manner.
Use hand tools, metrology equipment, and plasma cutters as needed to support production activities.
Monitor product quality throughout the shift and inspect parts using gauges and other measuring tools.
Accurately document inspection results to verify and record product quality.
Assist die setters with die changes, including preparation, changeover, and basic setup support.
Perform basic troubleshooting activities on presses to help identify and resolve minor production issues.
Pack parts using available equipment and follow established packaging and labeling requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper handling and disposal of scrap materials.
Follow all standard operating procedures, safety rules, and work instructions.
Perform various other duties as assigned by leadership to support overall production needs.
Essential Skills
At least 6 months of manufacturing experience in a production, general labor, or machine operating role.
Experience in automotive or aerospace manufacturing, or in large distribution environments such as major logistics centers.
Ability to operate or learn to operate production machinery, including presses and weld equipment.
Strong attention to detail when inspecting parts and documenting quality results.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time during the shift.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds for short periods of time as part of normal job duties.
Willingness and availability to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet production demands.
Comfort working in a loud, fast-paced stamping and welding environment.
Reliable work habits and consistent attendance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous forklift experience is a strong plus.
Previous overhead crane experience is a strong plus.
Experience using gauges, metrology equipment, and basic hand tools.
In automotive or aerospace manufacturing processes.
Ability to support basic troubleshooting on presses and related equipment.
Comfort working with plasma cutters and related shop equipment.

Work Environment
This position is based in a multi-building stamping and welding operation that includes six facilities on the same site. The plant runs coil-fed stamping presses ranging from 100 to 600 tons, MIG welding machines, and orbit forming machines used for riveting. The environment is typical of a stamping facility: loud, industrial, and not the cleanest, but not excessively dirty. You will work Monday through Friday on either first shift (6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) or second shift (2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.), with overtime on Saturdays as needed. The role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds. Safety glasses are provided, and masks and latex gloves are available. Hand sanitizer stations and disinfecting spray are on site. The dress code requires no shorts or tank tops, and comfortable closed-toe tennis shoes are recommended.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
