Lead Teacher Responsibilities: The lead teacher will provide full oversight for the High School credit recovery program using the Edgenuity platform. In addition to a full teaching load, content leads will plan and facilitate relevant new teacher orientation sessions, professional development sessions, and PLCs. They will budget and order materials, gather and distribute professional and technical resource materials, organize common and standardized assessments, timelines and testing materials. They will collect data and lead teacher teams in analyzing assessment data to inform instruction, support the development of common assessments and implementation of Massachusetts Frameworks, plan, facilitate and/or participate in PLCs, faculty meetings, PD, Chelsea Professional Learning Academies and new teacher days as needed, and participate as a team member of ILT and School Department PLCs. Additional duties are determined by the Principal. Responsibilities extend beyond the regular school day and school year.
