Nanny Position

Location: Melrose, MA Compensation: $35/hour Commitment Level: Full-time, live-out, long-term Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 AM–4:00 PM; Tuesday, Thursday 7:30 AM–5:00 PM Start Date: September 14 Position Overview A Melrose family is seeking an experienced, energetic full-time Nanny for their two children, ages 9 months and 4 years. Most of the day is one‑on‑one with the infant, whose routine centers on feeding roughly every four hours and long nap stretches. The older child attends school in Arlington, and the Nanny handles the 3:00 PM pickup and afternoon care for both children. The family is looking for someone active and hands‑on who is comfortable lifting a large infant and can pivot easily on days both children are home. Responsibilities Full attentive infant care including feedings, naps, diapering, and developmental play Daily school pickup in Arlington at 3:00 PM Afternoon care and activities for both children Light child‑related household tasks: laundry, dishwasher, toy organization Requirements Prior professional infant and toddler experience Energetic and comfortable lifting a large, active infant Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle Current CPR and First Aid certification COVID-19 and flu vaccination Reliable and flexible Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references Legally able to work in the U.S. #J-18808-Ljbffr Gilder Search Group
