Operator Associate (Foam - C Shift)Now hiring | Corsicana, TXCompensation: Starting rate $20.28 - $22.63/hour depending on experience ($1.50 shift differential)Shifts Available: 7:00pm – 7:00amJob Description:Operate assigned machines at required rateStarts and stops machinesPerform maintenance tasks including but not limited to changing hoses, valves, molds, and machine partsMonitor all machinery operations and bagging equipment operations on a continuous basis for quality and efficiencies.Diagnose/troubleshoot mechanical machine problems and makes adjustments to correct machine problems and maintain run rates.Perform necessary line adjustments to maintain and/ or improve product qualityMaintain run efficiencies established for the line and products.Perform quality check at prescribed intervalsPerform material tasks related to the pre-expansion areaPerform tasks related to baggers and automationComplete paperwork including but not limited to Operator Report, Quality Checks, and other forms as requiredPromptly communicates to supervisor any issues concerning health and safety, hygiene, quality and efficiencies.Maintain housekeeping around assigned line.Follow company safety procedures and policiesAssist other operatorsCommunicate production information both written and verbalPerform all other assigned dutiesQualifications:Machine operator experience or equivalent maintenance/ mechanical experienceDemonstrated mechanical experience required.Must have good communication skills—written and verbal and be able to demonstrate basic math proficiency.Must be able to use tools as required.Demonstrated ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential.Manual DexterityExcellent communication skillsDetailed record keeping per the prescribed frequencyHand/eye coordinationAnalytical skillsMath Skills (calculators to determine and record production data)Basic troubleshooting skills to resolve minor machine issues relating to its operationUnderstanding of production measurement tools such as level, etc.Knowledge of product quality standardsPrinciples of Thermoforming machinesCompany BenefitsWith safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
