Accounting Manager

Emergent has partnered with a growing industrial production company within the automotive sector, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee all accounting operations at their facility. This individual will play a critical role in financial reporting, cost accounting, and ensuring compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts Oversee cost accounting functions, including inventory valuation and standard costing Partner with operations leadership to support production efficiency and cost control initiatives Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls Coordinate audits and work with external auditors, banks, and tax professionals Develop and mentor accounting staff Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) 5+ years of accounting experience, including leadership responsibility Experience in automotive manufacturing or industrial production strongly preferred Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, production-driven environment What’s Offered Competitive salary (based on experience) Benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) #J-18808-Ljbffr
