This position also includes the oversight of all day-to-day accounting operations, as well as the supervision of Finance staff.Check out the role overview below If you are confident you have got the right skills and experience, apply today.Director of Finance Responsibilities:Prepare and publish accurate and timely monthly financial statements and multiple subsidiariesReview, Analyze and integrate as required financial activity of subsidiariesResearch technical accounting issues for complianceAnalyze and communicate results of operations to internal and external stakeholdersManage year-end audits, working closely with external accounting firmOversight of tax filings of the Association and its subsidiariesManage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirementsAdministrator of financial systems – Accounting, Reporting, Planning, Design and maintain internal controls over financial activities through policy and oversightDevelop, document, and maintain business processes and accounting policiesAssist in coordination and direction of budget and planningReport investment activities and review compliance to investment policySupervision of finance staffDirector of Finance Requirements:Minimum four-year Degree in Finance/AccountingCPA or CPA candidate requiredMinimum 8-10 years accounting experience, including supervision of a small staffProficiency in Microsoft Office ProductsExperience using accounting packages (Sage Intacct Accounting, Workday Adaptive Insights)Highly organized, detailed oriented with experience in handling multiple projects simultaneouslyInternal and External Contacts: The Director of Finance must maintain good working relations with Executive Staff, as well as all other members of staff. xhyhwjd This position also requires communication with the Executive Committee, Directors, Members, Company Partners, and Vendors of the Association.
