Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Project Architect to join the firm as part of our Aviation team in our Seattle office. Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Responsibilities Generating creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a project Prepare and coordinate all project deliverables Manage contract administration responsibilities Coordinate with a variety of consultants Provide leadership to staff Manage client relations and ensure client satisfaction Function in a team lead capacity, while working on multiple, challenging projects Assist with creation and management of project schedules Develop & present appropriate technical solutions to stakeholders Assist with leading project studio team members, leveraging strengths, and providing mentorship Work proactively to resolve issues that arise between project, design, and technical objectives of the project, in coordination with Project Manager Execute coordination and integration of architectural and consultant documents Seek innovation in design solutions in an ongoing spirit of curiosity and increased project performance Demonstrate understanding of appropriate industry standards and construction practice Maintain awareness of, and appropriately apply, new methodologies, practices, codes, and products Attend and conduct presentations Qualifications Degree from a NAAB accredited architecture program or equivalent 10+ years of experience in commercial design; aviation experience strongly preferred or experience managing large teams on large-scale projects. Transportation related experience highly desired. Revit proficiency and technical excellence Thorough understanding of how a drawing set goes together Acumen for how things are built and constructability Understanding of building and accessibility codes Experience coordinating with a variety of consultants andcontractors Interest in sustainable design Professional registration Effective organizational and communication skills Attention to detail Flexible attitude Ability to collaborate in a diverse project team environment Demonstrated experiencecoordinating and leading projects teams Ability to translatedesign concepts and information into images Confident presentation ability Potential travel opportunities Corgan creates opportunities for personal and professional growth that bring out the best in ourselves and those around us by sharpening skills, leveraging technology, and encouraging communication. Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 annually – Seattle locations only The estimate range represents the general base salary range of candidates hired in Seattle locations only. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. In addition, base salary is not inclusive of total compensation.
