Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist serving an elementary school caseload in a supportive educational environment. This full-time, onsite role spans the school year, beginning as soon as possible and extending through late May 2027. You'll work closely with students, educators, and parents to assess needs, develop intervention strategies, and help foster an environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current state license as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in elementary school settings is highly preferred
- Exceptional assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Strong commitment to collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to create and support intervention plans that cater to diverse student needs
- Knowledge of current special education regulations and best practices
Your Contribution Will Include:
- Administering psychological assessments and interpreting results to support student development
- Participating in individualized education plan (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Providing direct and indirect services to students to address behavioral, emotional, and academic concerns
- Collaborating regularly with school staff and families to support positive outcomes
- Maintaining detailed and confidential documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Offering crisis intervention and counseling when necessary
