Maintenance Technician - Overnight Shift

Schedule: 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
Pay: $27-$33 per hour

We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to support daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently. The position supports the overnight maintenance shift.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on production machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues (up to 480V).
• Assist with stainless steel sanitation and perform sanitary welding as needed.
• Inspect, monitor, and maintain production equipment to ensure efficient operation.
• Fabricate, repair, and install machine components and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain pumps, valves, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) as needed.
• Complete maintenance records accurately and follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required (food or dairy manufacturing experience is a plus).
• Strong mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with sanitary welding or stainless steel sanitation is a plus.
• Familiarity with pumps, valves, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and respond to urgent maintenance needs when required.
• Ability to work in physically demanding and wet manufacturing environments.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
