Job Responsibilities
- Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's needs and create individualized therapy strategies that support their functional objectives
- Perform Therapeutic Activities: Apply evidence-based techniques to improve patients' physical abilities and daily life skills
- Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide guidance on therapeutic practices to encourage ongoing recovery and support from home
- Track and Document Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to promote continuous improvement
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
- Continued education or advanced certifications are encouraged and supported
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
