We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department (ED) for a 13-week weekend night contract in Mauston, Wisconsin. The RN will provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients ranging from pediatric through geriatric populations, supporting assessment, stabilization, treatment, and discharge.

This position requires strong emergency assessment, triage, prioritization, resuscitation, and patient-flow skills. The RN must be comfortable managing multiple patients in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Perform age-appropriate emergency assessments and plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for pediatric through geriatric patients.

• Perform Emergency Severity Index (ESI) five-level triage and prioritize patient care according to acuity and clinical needs.

• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and emergency treatments while monitoring life-support and other clinical equipment.

• Respond effectively to emergency and crisis situations, including resuscitation, while coordinating care with providers and ancillary departments.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, provide patient and family education, coordinate discharge needs, and support efficient Emergency Department patient flow.

• Minimum 2 Years of Relevant Registered Nurse Experience Required; Emergency Department Experience Required.

• Current, Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Active Compact RN License Required.

• Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS Certifications Required.

• Current PALS and TNCC Certifications Required; ATCN Certification Preferred.

• Associate Degree in Nursing Required; Bachelor's Degree Preferred; Ability to Work Friday Sunday Night Shifts and Applicable Weekend Holiday Coverage Required.
